I was being interviewed by my high school paper: Sharon, you're a freshman and you got the lead in the school musical.

And I did.
At 17, I trained with acting teachers from the Yale School of Drama (a deep bow to Earle Gister) and later received an M.F.A. in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory at the Denver Center.

I went on to play:
... the title role in Pulitzer-Prize winner Charles Gordone's Roan Brown and Cherry, right out of U.C. Berkeley.... in Mark Lamos' six-hour production of Peer Gynt at Hartford Stage. (The theatre won a Tony Award that season.)
On television, a guest role for the nascent Fox network in the series Ghost Stories.
When I moved to France, it was a different world and a new language. Finding a community of actors and auditions (!) took time. But I did.
Opposite Eric Judor in the final season of Platane for Canal+.
Singing a repertoire of American standards from the 40's & 50's in concerts at the American Embassy,
the Hôtel Ambassador & private events across France.
In French, the role of Anja in Une Poignée de Sable opposite Michael Vander-Meiren.
